Lucin is a health-tech startup, delivering a screening agent to detect cancer early. Our aim is to enable the Human MOT; a regular and cheap abdomen checkup service. In the shorter term, our focus is on delivering a screening tool to the cancers for which no screening solutions exist: kidneys, pancreas and gastric cancer.
Founding team
Bill McGough
Bill recently completed his PhD at Robinson College, University of Cambridge. Before founding Lucin, Bill’s research focused on developing deep learning methods for cancer screening in CT data. He has first-author publications in Bioinformatics and International Symposium of Biomedical Imaging, with a first-author paper currently in the Nature portfolio in the second round of peer-review.
Harry Knighton
Harry is a graduate of Computer Science at Clare College, University of Cambridge. Before founding Lucin, Harry worked as a senior full-stack engineer at Cambridge Mind Technologies, delivering LLM-based health agents for low-cost easy-access counselling.
