Master of Accounting webinar – CFO Preparation with Alexi Wellman and Steve Voskuil

19:00 – 20:15

The Cambridge Master of Accounting degree programme is designed to bridge students to global leadership roles in accounting, finance, and related fields.

To support this, the faculty are pleased to host our curriculum advisors Alexi Wellman, CFO of Altaba and former Global Controller at Yahoo, and Steve Voskuil, CFO of the Hershey Company and former CFO of Kimberley-Clark International, for a moderated discussion of how professionals might successfully navigate their careers towards a Chief Financial Officer role.

The discussion should provide insights about the skills needed, in today’s volatile business climate, to engage as a publicly-traded corporate CFO.

Master of Accounting webinar – The Psychology of Fraud

19:00 – 20:30

The Cambridge Master of Accounting degree programme is designed to develop ethical global leaders for roles in accounting, finance, and related fields.

To support this, the faculty are pleased to host Sam Antar, convicted felon and former CFO of Crazy Eddie, for a moderated discussion of why some professionals commit white collar fraud and what incentives and infrastructure help foster and sustain fraud.

The discussion should provide insights about how to detect and mitigate fraud, which is more likely to exist and persist in today’s volatile business climate.

Master of Accounting webinar – How Change Happens

19:00 – 20:30

The Cambridge Master of Accounting degree programme is designed to help students facilitate global change leadership. To support this curriculum, the faculty and students are pleased to host Duncan Green, Senior Strategic Adviser at Oxfam GB and Professor in International Development at the London School of Economics, for a discussion of how to manage social, environmental, business and policy change initiatives.

The talk should provide insights about how power is distributed in shared ecosystems, how sources of power are often hidden, and how successful change practice leverages deeper understanding of power dynamics.
