This year’s MFin employment report

Our Master of Finance (MFin) employment report captures the data from our most recent graduating class, the class of 2023/24.

Our class of 78 students represented 31 different nationalities and had an average of 4 years’ experience before starting the degree.

Our graduates use their MFin experience to take their careers in new and exciting directions. Some move into new areas of finance, and others use their MFin to work in a new location.

The MFin programme has been a transformative experience, equipping me with essential skills and knowledge. From foundational finance skills, to cutting-edge quantitative techniques, the programme provided me with everything I needed for a successful and impactful career in finance.

In a year with a difficult recruitment environment, our MFin students' achievements in obtaining employment and successfully managing career transitions are well-deserved. Seventy-five per cent of jobseekers had accepted full-time roles within 4 months of completing the programme. Of those students who changed country, 83% remained in the UK. The year was challenging for recruitment and the students’ success demonstrates their exceptional capabilities and highlights the quality of education and support provided by our programme.
