A decade of change
Cambridge Judge Business School has seen extraordinary change in the decade that Professor Christoph Loch served as our Dean.
During his tenure, we have witnessed numerous achievements including the introduction of several new degree programmes, including Masters degrees in Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Accounting, and the innovative Business Doctorate for very senior executives.
New research centres have been established addressing issues such as alternative finance, strategic philanthropy, growth support to startups and SMEs, leadership, gender diversity and the circular economy.
The Simon Sainsbury Centre opened in 2018 and greatly expanded lecture, meeting and dining facilities at Cambridge Judge. The School is currently preparing to open a physical presence in Shenzhen, China with its partner school Peking University HSBC Business School to collaborate on business education, academic research and entrepreneurship.
The Christoph Loch Scholarship
Professor Loch firmly believes that academic excellence should be available to everyone and that we all have a responsibility to ensure that there are no barriers preventing tomorrow’s leaders from accessing a first-class business school education today.
There is still plenty to be done to ensure that future Cambridge Judge Business School students have the best possible chance to reach their full potential – and to help them use their experience at Cambridge Judge to change the world for the better.
One of the School’s key priorities is to increase its scholarship provision across all programmes, in an effort to attract and encourage applications from excellent candidates regardless of financial barriers.
Cambridge Judge is delighted to launch the Christoph Loch Scholarship, to celebrate Professor Loch’s decade with us and to make much-needed funding available to prospective students who meet the School’s admission requirements, but are restricted financially.
We hope that you share Professor Loch’s ambition to make business school education accessible to all and invite you to support the Christoph Loch Scholarship.
