Sinyi Professor of Chinese Management
About Christopher’s research
Professor Christopher Marquis is the Sinyi Professor of Chinese Management. His research and teaching is focused on the 2 areas of sustainable business and doing business in China. Under these themes he has examined entrepreneurship in China, the triple-bottom line and building sustainable businesses globally, and business competition in emerging markets. These research projects build on Professor Marquis’ earlier research on how business can have a positive impact on society and in particular how historical and geographical processes have shaped firms’ and entrepreneurs’ social and environmental strategies and activities.
Michael Kitson
Associate Professor in International Macroeconomics
Research interests
Michael Kitson researches macroeconomic policy and performance; international trade; regional economics; corporate performance; innovation and the commercialisation of science.
Patrizia Vecchi
Assistant Professor in Organisational Behaviour
About Patrizia’s research
Dr Vecchi’s research interests include interpersonal relationships in organisations, social networks, interpersonal cognition, and teamwork. She taught professionals and executives around the world in topics such as negotiation, and power and politics. She is currently the Academic Programme Director for the Cambridge Rising Women Leaders Programme.
Shasha Lu

About Shasha’s research
Shasha’s research interests mainly lie in developing quantitative tools that combine state-of-the-art video analytics and machine learning techniques from computer science with current marketing models to improve business practices in areas such as retailing, advertising, fashion and entertainment marketing, among others.
