Join us for an engaging webinar with Executive MBA student Althea Carbon-Ogden, Commercial Director at fintech startup mx51. In this informal session, prospective female candidates will hear how Althea is applying her Cambridge EMBA learning to accelerate her impactful career, using technology to drive societal change.
Althea is the Commercial Director at mx51, an Australian fintech startup, where she leads negotiations with customers and a network of 150+ partners. She began her career as a lawyer specialising in technology contracts and data privacy at top law firms in New Zealand and Australia, before moving into the startup world – working across spin-offs, demergers, and greenfield ventures.
A passionate advocate for technology as a force for good, Althea co-founded Charity-IT, connecting software developers with charities through hackathons. She is a recipient of the Westpac Women of Influence Emerging Leaders Award, recognising her contribution to community impact.
Currently pursuing her Executive MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School, Althea is expanding her expertise beyond law to enhance her leadership as a purpose-driven, impact-focused executive.
Learn about Althea’s EMBA journey, how the programme is shaping her leadership in real time, and how it empowers professionals committed to creating societal impact. The session will include a live Q&A – your chance to ask Althea about her career, her EMBA experience, and her path to leadership.
