Allison Wheeler-Heau: Hello, everyone. I hope 2024 started very well for you. I’m delighted to be with Professor Jaideep Prabhu today, who is the academic programme director of our exciting new open enrolment programme, Sustainable Marketing Leadership. Jaideep, who is this programme for?
Jaideep Prabhu: Thank you, Alli. This programme is for 2 types of people. The primary audience are senior marketing leaders, people who are looking to integrate sustainability and ESG into their marketing plans. The secondary audience are any senior leaders in any kind of organisation, people who are looking to use sustainability as a way to gain a competitive advantage.
Allison: Wonderful. And you’ve explained a lot, Jaideep. But I guess one key question I have is, what makes it unique?
Jaideep: Several things about it. First, as I said, it’s a way to find new ways to create new value and differentiate yourself, not just think of sustainability as a cost or a risk to be avoided. Second, we have a mix of academics and practitioners who have developed this programme and who deliver it. Third, we look at issues around change: behavioural insights, innovation, new technologies like AI.
And finally, the learning is personalised. People bring problems, challenges, and opportunities from their organisation to the programme, and they work on that during the programme, and they go away with a personal action plan for change.
Allison: Sounds super. When is it?
Jaideep: It’s from the 30th of April to the 3rd of May, 4 days in Cambridge with a live launch online before and a followup after. We’re really looking forward to seeing you in Cambridge to work on this programme together.
