Have you got a question? We’ve got answers.

Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions we get about the MSt in Entrepreneurship.

General

Still got questions? Visit our pages:

It’s a part-time master’s degree, which our students normally fit around their venture (or full-time work, if they’re intrapreneurs).

Our Master in Entrepreneurship programme teaches you key skills and knowledge through a combination of online courses and practical activities.

Our aim is to help you develop academically, personally and professionally in order to progress your career.

Curriculum

No – you’ll mainly study online with interactive teaching groups, so you can complete the programme from anywhere in the world. You just need to ensure you’re available to come to Cambridge for the residentials, as these are compulsory. Attendance at webinars is not compulsory, but strongly encouraged.

Two years.

Our programme begins at the start of September each year.

We encourage you to! Most of our students work on their venture or full-time (in the UK or overseas) while studying for the MSt; the programme is part-time and designed to fit around other commitments.

Careers

An MSt is not the usual route into a PhD at the Business School. If you’re thinking of doing a PhD at Cambridge Judge after completing a master’s degree, we’d normally recommend one of the specialist research master’s programmes instead.

Admission requirements

Still got questions? Visit our page:

Candidates need to be fluent in English to take the MSt in Entrepreneurship programme. If your first language isn’t English, you’ll need to take a language proficiency test and have achieved the minimum score required no more than two years before the start of your programme.

You don’t need to take the test before you apply. However, if you’re made an offer and haven’t already met our requirements, we’ll ask you to take the test.

You won’t normally need to complete a GRE/GMAT test. However, if you don’t have a good 2:1 honours degree or the equivalent from an overseas institution, we’ll ask you to take the test. Candidates will need to rank above the 50th percentile in each element to be considered.

No, we don’t have a minimum working experience requirement. We will ask you to demonstrate previous entrepreneurial experience.

Application process

Our applications open in September (the year before you wish to start) and close at the beginning of May. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as we review applications on a rolling basis.

No, if you’re shortlisted for an interview, it will be done via video call.

We invite you to come to our open days to meet members of the faculty and the admissions team. We also offer online information sessions, and you can ask questions via our online query form.

Unfortunately, we can’t accept applications by post – we ask you to apply via our online system instead.

We are unable to defer offers on this programme; if you decide not to take up your offer for the year stated, you’ll need to reapply again for the following year.

All nationals from outside the UK and Ireland can be supported in entering the UK to attend the programme’s residential sessions as a visitor. Visit the University’s short period of study visa webpage for more information.

Please note the University does not provide visa sponsorship for the MSt in Entrepreneurship.

The fee is £50 per application.
