The inaugural conference of the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) brought policy makers, chief theorists, Nobel Prize winners in their profession and historians of economic thought to one place to learn from one another.
George Soros, Chairman of the Open Society Institute, is a long-time critic of classical economics. He’s given 50 million dollars over 10 years to set up the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET), whose inaugural conference this is.
