Dr Jonathan Trevor, Lecturer in Human Resources and Organisations at Cambridge Judge Business School, has been invited by the Qatar University of Cambridge Alumni Society to give a short lecture at the British Embassy in Doha on Wednesday 5 December.
Both Cambridge and Oxford alumni are invited to the event, which is being hosted by the British Ambassador to Qatar, Michael O’Neill CMG, and is sponsored by Commercialbank Qatar.
The title of Dr Trevor’s talk is ‘Transforming the way we work to become transformational’ and is based on a recent article he co-authored with Richard Hill, Business Development Director at Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education. Dr Trevor will discuss how the increased complexity and pace of change within the operating environment is forcing many organisations to transform the way they compete for value and how they can develop and prepare for transformational leadership.
Dr Trevor has over 10 years of management consultancy experience and is Director of ConsultCambridge Ltd, a research-led consultancy specialising in organisational design, change management and human capital management, as well as Co-Director of the Centre for International Human Resource Management.
He has also published in a number of peer reviewed international journals, including Human Resource Management and MIT Sloan Management Review, as well as being featured in The Economist, the Financial Times, CNN and the BBC. He has authored numerous papers and a book on compensation strategies published in 2011 by Palgrave Macmillan.
