Staff to fundraise with exciting events to be held across the city as part of executive education programme

Cambridge Judge Business School is delighted to announce that it will be fundraising for Barnardo’s children’s charity with a series of exciting events that will take place across Cambridge on Thursday 25 April 2013.

The staff members involved are currently undertaking the Cambridge Judge Business School Management Development Programme, which is delivered by Executive Education at the School. As part of the course each of the five teams has been tasked with creating and running an event to generate income for Barnardo’s, and, the more innovative and creative the idea the more credit they’ll receive.

The fundraising task is part of a module which comprises an experiential, competitive team exercise, giving the teams an opportunity to demonstrate their learning to date from the leadership and team modules they have already completed. It will also provide a basis around which the learning of the forthcoming modules can be applied.

The teams have been provided with a start-up budget of £100 and all money raised will be donated to Barnardo’s. The majority of the events are open to the public (except where indicated). Here’s a taste of what’s on offer, all taking place on Thursday 25 April:
