Cambridge Judge Business School and the 30% Club announce the recipients of four scholarships at the Women’s Leadership Initiative Conference: Growing Together.
The recipients of four scholarships granted to Cambridge Judge by the 30% Club were announced today at the Women’s Leadership Initiative Conference: Growing Together at Cambridge Judge Business School.
This year’s successful scholars are:
- Alexandra Breedlove (KPMG), Cambridge MBA
- Fransiska Novianti (OCBC Bank), Master of Finance
- Miranda Essex (Procter & Gamble), MSt Social Innovation
- Lauren Vopni (De Beers Group of Companies) MSt Social Innovation
A fifth 30% Club Scholarship has been granted for 2016, for the MPhil in Management programme at Cambridge Judge. Unlike the four existing scholarships, which are offered to women in mid-career, this scholarship is aimed at women in the earlier stages of their careers. The recipient of this scholarship will be announced within the next few weeks.
All of the scholarships are for 2016 entry, for female candidates only. The successful scholars receive a programme fee reduction, access to the 30% Club’s network of member organisations, and mentors through the 30% Club mentorship scheme.
Cambridge Judge is collaborating with the 30% Club to address gender imbalance and to provide opportunities for talented women to access the benefits of a world-class business education. The 30% Club launched in the UK in 2010 with a goal of achieving a minimum of 30% women on FTSE100 boards – currently the figure stands at 26 per cent up from 12.5 per cent back in 2010.
