Dr Christos Genakos is appointed to the Economic Advisory Group on Competition Policy by the EU competition commissioner.
Dr Christos Genakos, University Senior Lecturer in Economics and Policy at Cambridge Judge Business School, has been appointed a member of the Economic Advisory Group on Competition Policy (EAGCP) by European Union Competition Commissioner, Margrethe Vestager.
The EAGCP supports the competition directorate of the EU in improving the economic reasoning in competition policy analysis, and is comprised of academics with a recognised reputation in the field of industrial organisation.
Dr Genakos, who joined Cambridge Judge in 2016, specialises in applied microeconomics, with an emphasis on industrial organisation and quantitative techniques for competition analysis and regulation.
