Vincent O’Sullivan (EMBA 2017) has started a new role at the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Brussels.
Congratulations to Vincent O’Sullivan, who has been appointed to the position of Financial Services Attaché at the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the EU in Brussels.
Vincent will be representing Ireland’s interest in financial services negotiations at the EU level, particularly in relation to financial market reforms, capital and liquidity regulations and future Brexit discussions.
Previously, he had worked as a senior policy advisor at the Central Bank of Ireland, focusing on emerging and novel policy issues. He was also responsible for promoting better policy-making by facilitating greater co-ordination and engagement between policy divisions.
Vincent sees the EMBA at Cambridge Judge Business School as a way to strengthen his leadership and problem-solving capabilities, and to support more effective policy intervention in the EU financial system.
Vincent’s mission in Brussels started in September.
