Data retention policy

When you give us your details (e.g. by registering for an event, signing up to a mailing list, or requesting a brochure) this information is added to our contacts database.

If you are a student/alumni member, we are allowed to keep your data in perpetuity, as it is considered essential to our work.

If you are not, we may keep your data for 2 years. Close to the end of those 2 years we will contact you to confirm we still have your consent to retain your data. If you do not confirm this, after 2 years your data will become anonymised (ie we can continue to us it for statistical purposes, but it will not be identifiable as belonging to you). At any time you can ask us to stop contacting you; details of how to unsubscribe can be found on the communications you receive from us.
