Huric’s MBA learning journey
Cambridge Venture Project client | ThoughtRiver (Legaltech startup)
Global Consulting Project client | Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund)
Concentration | Global business
Why the Cambridge MBA?
I chose the Cambridge MBA because the programme places a strong focus on experiential learning, which is practical and effective in preparing me for post-MBA opportunities.
How was your Global Consulting Project experience?
The GCP was the highlight of my Cambridge MBA experience. It brought together the learnings from the classroom and the CVP, and gave me the real-life opportunity to deliver impact and insights to a major international company.
What inspired your career direction?
The CVP and GCP gave me good exposure to the consulting world, collaborating in a diverse team setting to deliver impact and value for the client. The whole experience inspired me to join the consulting industry after the MBA.
Your plans for the next five years?
I hope to further sharpen my consulting skill sets, and gain deeper sectoral exposure to the industries my clients are leading in. I also wish to devote more time to my passion in social enterprises and building new businesses.
The Cambridge MBA in three words…
Opening new horizons.
Any advice to incoming students?
Be bold, be open, and be hungry. The Cambridge MBA is an enabler that opens up doors and opportunities. Given the relatively short duration of this programme versus other MBA programmes, do leverage the resources of the career office early to help you understand and prioritise the full range of opportunities available to a Cambridge MBA graduate.
