Why the Cambridge MBA?

The perfect combination of one-year duration, affinity with technology, and being part of a 800-year long Cambridge legacy.

How was your Global Consulting Project experience?

Eye-opening. It was my first touch point with a consumer-focused technology business, my first experience in developing a market-entry strategy, and the first time I had to deeply reflect on the hundreds of taxi drivers I was so accustomed to.

What inspired your career direction?

Through classes, interdisciplinary discussions, projects, its vicinity to Silicon Fen, and collaboration with various Cambridge departments, the Cambridge MBA programme taught me much about technology business, of its relationship with scale and impact. The whole experience was a key factor in my decision to pursue a career in technology after the Cambridge MBA.

Your plans for the next five years?

Grow into a senior leadership role at Google, build Modal Rakyat as a leading financial technology company in the country, and start my transition into the public sector.

The Cambridge MBA in three words…

Make impossible possible.

Any advice to incoming students?

You only have one year, so make the best of it by carefully prioritising the things that you want to achieve and the relationships that will matter in the long run.
