The Experiences of UK Mid-corporate Companies in Accessing and Working in the Emerging Asian Economies (CBR project)

Overview

Aims and objectives

UK Trade and Investment funded this project, which studied UK mid-corporate companies’ experiences in accessing and working in the emerging Asian economies. The project examined the experiences of 12 UK mid-corporate companies in five emerging Asian markets: India, China, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

The research consisted of a series of in-depth case studies and statistical analysis of some of the key factors that contribute to the success of the UK exporters in the emerging Asian economies and the barriers that they face in trading with the emerging Asian economies.
