Overview

The Accounting for Cyber-risk Conference will discuss accounting-related cybersecurity issues and opportunities such as organisational vulnerability, corporate governance, data security, internal controls, and the reporting and audit of risk disclosures.

Topics are designed for financial officers, risk officers, strategic managers, enterprise risk managers, investors, regulators, insurers, accountants, auditors and accounting academics who are interested in understanding the nature of cyber-risk, how to protect against cyber-risk with countermeasures, internal controls, and insurance, how to articulate and audit cyber-risk disclosures, how to quantify and report expected losses from cyber incidents, and how financial markets process cyber-risk disclosures.

The conference opens with a discussion of hacking techniques by Rob Shapland, Ethical Hacker and Head of Awareness at Falanx Cyber, and a keynote speech by Alexi Wellman, Chief Financial Officer of Altaba and former Global Controller and Vice President of Finance at Yahoo.

The Accounting for Cyberrisk Conference will now be hosted online.
