Niyazi Taneri addresses questions related to two research streams: (i) new product development, technology and business model innovation, and (ii) the impact of operations and technology on societal outcomes-with a data analytics and game-theoretic lens. In the first research stream, he investigates how firms explore avenues for technology and business model innovation and how they should structure R&D partnerships, whether such theoretical predictions are followed in practice, and the consequences of deviating from those predictions. In the second research stream, his research shows the critical role of operational factors on carbon emissions and labour outcomes (eg the use of child labour).
