Columns

Overview

The Columns Block allows you to create multi-column layouts within your posts and pages. It’s a powerful tool for organizing and presenting content in a visually appealing manner.

Once you’ve added the Columns Block, you can configure the number of columns by selecting the desired layout option. The default options are:

  • 100 – 1 column with 100% width
  • 50/50 – 2 columns with 50% width each
  • 33/66 – 2 columns with 33% and 66% width accordingly
  • 66/33 – 2 columns with 33% and 66% width accordingly
  • 33/33/33 – 3 columns with 33% width each
  • 25/50/25 – 3 columns with 25%, 50% and 25% accordingly

Additionally, if you need to create a different layout you can use nested columns. For example, 4 columns it’s a common requirement. You can do that by selecting the 50/50 option and then add 50/50 columns inside each column of the parent block.

If you have a specific column layout that you want to reuse on multiple pages or posts, you can save the Columns Block as a reusable block. To do this, select the entire Columns Block, click on the “Create Reusable Block” button in the block settings, and give it a name. You can then access the reusable block from the “Reusable Blocks” tab in the block selector.
