The power of middle managers will gradually disappear as organisations journey through a ‘monumental’ evolutionary process driven by the now paramount transparency of information. It will apply mostly to knowledge intensive organisations, but all sectors whether manufacturing, services or banking will have to embrace parts of this approach.
