The Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School and Risk Management Solutions Inc. (RMS) have been nominated for an award for their study The Cyber Exposure Data Schema, at insurance company Advisen’s third annual Cyber Risk Awards to be held on 15 June in New York.

Nominated in the category of Cyber Risk Innovation of the Year, the nominees need to show that their innovation has made an outstanding contribution to improving the way that cyber risk has been managed in the past year.

The Cyber Exposure Data Schema was developed with support from eight leading insurance and reinsurance companies. Jen Copic, Research Associate at the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies, said: “The study provides insurance firms with a standardised approach to identifying, quantifying and reporting cyber insurance exposure.”

The awards by Advisen, which has offices in the US and UK, aim to pave the way for smarter and more efficient risk and insurance communities.
