Professional history

David is the Head of China Land Acquisition at Hang Lung Properties, a real estate developer focused on premium retail, office and residential projects in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The company is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange with over three million square metres of investment property and a market cap of USD $10 billion.

Prior to Hang Lung, he practised as an architect in New York at SOM, Polshek Partnership, and WXY Architects, working on a range of typologies from landmark skyscrapers to community schools.

David earned his undergraduate degrees in architecture and fine art at the Rhode Island School of Design. He is a registered architect in the New York State.

Society & charity work

David is one of the leaders for the CJBS Hong Kong alumni group and a mentor for the Cambridge University Chinese Society. He also volunteers for the American Institute of Architects, Hong Kong Chapter.
