Global COVID-19 FinTech Market Rapid Assessment Survey
Open surveys
The CCAF invites participants in key vertical FinTech and Digital Financial Services sectors (digital lending, digital capital raising, digital payments, digital savings, InsurTech, WealthTech, digital custody, cryptoasset and consensus services, digital banks and market provisioning) to complete the survey. There are two versions available:
- For FinTech and digital financial services firms that have not participated in previous CCAF benchmarking studies:
- For Digital Lending and Digital Capital Raising firms that have previously participated in the CCAF’s long-running Alternative Finance Industry Benchmarking Studies (to allow our longitudinal data collection).
Introducing the survey
The CCAF is partnering with the World Bank and the World Economic Forum to undertake a study that will collect empirical data to understand COVID-19’s impact on the FinTech and Digital Financial Services markets, how the global industry has responded and some of the immediate regulatory and policy implications. This is a Rapid Assessment study, with the survey scheduled to run until 30 July 2020 and the findings to be published in Q3 of 2020.
3rd Global Cryptoasset Benchmarking Study
The 3rd Global Cryptoasset Benchmarking Study aims to provide fresh insights into the current state of the global cryptoasset industry.
Open surveys
The CCAF kindly invites participants in the cryptoasset ecosystem to participate in the study. There are two surveys available: one for cryptoasset mining actors and another for cryptoasset service providers. Please take the survey that you feel applies best to your activities. Please note that all identifying information from organisations that complete the industry surveys will be removed from the research team’s analysis, and findings will only be presented in an aggregated form (e.g. by country). All survey participants have the option to be prominently acknowledged in the final report with their logo displayed.
Please note that the surveys are available in English, Español, Português, 中文, 日本, русский, and 한국어

Introducing the study
The first and second editions of the Global Cryptoasset Benchmarking Study were published in April 2017 and December 2018 respectively. In previous editions, we gathered data from over 180 different cryptoasset companies and individuals, covering 47 countries across five world regions. The reports have been very well received by industry actors, regulators and policymakers and have been cited in several renowned publications and reports.
