The mission of the Wo+Men’s Leadership Centre (WLC) is to become a hub for global thought leadership in making the changes needed to foster a gender balanced workforce around the world.

We aim to foster the next generation of women leaders and expand the pool of women with the requisite leadership skills. We conduct cutting edge research to generate insights on creating the cultures, institutions and organisations that will enable more women to become successful leaders. By bringing students, corporations and policy makers more closely together we disseminate our findings and create the forums to translate ideas into practical solutions. We achieve this objective in the following ways:

  • Impactful research: researching the challenges of developing women leaders and offering practical solutions
  • Cutting edge programmes: transplanting our findings into a series of innovative programmes and workshops aimed at both prospective female leaders and employers
  • Engaging forums: creating forums and networks through which these ideas and solutions can not only be developed but also sustained and improved over the longer term.

Our goal is to bring academics, corporations and policymakers together to achieve an impact across a wide range of corporate sectors, both profit and non-profit, and to take the initiative to a number of different countries.
