Empowering regulators, policymakers, and entrepreneurs to grow the fintech sector globally 

Capacity building and education is central to our mission at the CCAF in informing and enabling leaders in finance, regulation, and supervision. Through our programmes, we disseminate research, making it accessible to a wider audience, and we facilitate multi-team collaborations. Specifically: 

  • We provide capacity building and education programmes for regulators and policymakers. 
  • We promote evidence-based policymaking by supporting the dissemination of CCAF research. 
  • We provide a platform for the CCAF and the global community of regulators to collaborate and share knowledge.

Cambridge Fintech and Regulatory Innovation (CFTRI) programme

This 8-week online programme is designed to provide global regulators with the latest insights into fintech and a deeper understanding of regulatory innovation. They are empowered to achieve key regulatory objectives such as consumer protection and financial inclusion. Over 870 regulators and policymakers from 200 institutions and 130 countries have successfully completed the programme.

Cambridge Digital Assets for Regulators (CDAR) Online Programme

Designed for regulators and supervisors globally, this programme leverages the expertise of thematic experts in digital assets across academia, industry, and financial authorities. This 8-week online course offers insight into the origins of the crypto-industry through to the practical considerations related to regulating and supervising crypto-related actors, activities and assets. This course is designed to inform participants and facilitate dialogue about the potential risks and opportunities within the growing digital asset ecosystem.

Supervisor of the Future: SupTech Frontiers Programme focuses on the paradigm shift in financial supervision that is triggered by the rise of fintech and digital assets. Cambridge SupTech Lab – Leading Transformation: Product and Organisational Innovation Programme

Leading Transformation: Product and Organisational Innovation Programme furthers the capacity of the participants to be the visionary and effective leaders of the digital transformation of financial supervision.
