In order to complete the Master of Studies in Entrepreneurship programme successfully, you will be required to take and pass 10 modules and complete the major project.
The core modules provide a broad set of courses where each one offers the essential knowledge every entrepreneur should have, regardless of their industry or background. The core modules complement one another to build a strong foundation upon which to customise your learning experience through the subsequent electives.
Core modules are taken during the first year of the programme and include the following topics:
Strategy, Organisations and Business Models
This module addresses the decisions entrepreneurs must consider when they assess whether to pursue an opportunity. Through this module you will develop a structured way to approach the development of a comprehensive business model to help determine what actions should be taken next to drive your business forward.
Organisational Behaviour, Negotiation and Conflict Management
This module teaches you how to establish and manage nascent organisations. This includes the establishment of founding teams and the broader organisational structure within an entrepreneurial environment which by its nature is uncertain.
Marketing for the 21st Century
This module teaches you what it means to be customer centric. You will learn the process of planning, developing and implementing business activities to obtain a competitive edge for your venture. The module will delve into topics such as market environment, customer analysis, positioning, brand and product strategy.
This module teaches you the financial implications of various business decisions. Through this module you will be better able to represent your own venture to external stakeholders.
This module provides you with essential tools to break down complex problems and comprehend the interactions that take place within them. You will learn how to represent and analyse critical operational decisions and understand the direct and indirect implications of these decisions.

As part of the programme in your second year you will be required to complete a major project, which is a 12,000-word assignment on a new business opportunity.
